Plastic Centrifugals

Our range of polymer centrifugal fans are designed to operate in both corrosive and explosive environments.

 

Fans are available in a number of diameters and with airflow rates up to 30.5 m /s.

 

Our fan casings and impellers are manufactured using fire-retardant polypropylene however other polymers such as PVC and FRP are available on request.

 

Anti-static versions are available for use in Zone 1 Cat 2G ATEX applications.

  • Polypropylene construction as standard (PVDF, UPVC and FRP materials available on request)

  • Dynamically balanced to BS 848-7 / ISO 14694

Fan Casings

 

  • Moulded using fire retardant polypropylene as standard (PVDF, UPVC and FRP materials available on request)

  • Anti-static versions available to meet Atex Zone 1, Cat 2G ATEX applications.

  • Rotatable housing to allow for discharge positioning to 45 degree increments

  • Epoxy coated mild steel support frame 

Fan Motors

 

  • Totally enclosed squirrel caged (TEFC)

  • IP55 ingress rating as standard (higher levels available on request)

  • Belt or direct drive versions available

  • Shaft seals fitted to minimise ingress of dust and air leakage

  • Minimum Class "F" motor winding insulation

  • Continuous operation from -40 C to -50 C

  • Single phase (200-240V) or three phase (380-420V versions available

  • 50 Hz or 60 Hz frequencies available
